Where to Start to Get a Chat Bot for Your Website

The first thing one needs is a chat bot engine for their website. There are many engines out there that are available to you, and research is in order to find the one that fits your needs. You will find that some have to be purchased, while others are free. There are even some engines that are hosted on a private website, with tools to help you get started. If you are a beginner Bot Master, a great place to get started is Pandorabots.com. The reasons I recommend Pandorabots is because, they have a really great set of tools, and they also have a huge community of helpful members.

The next thing you will need to do is give your bot engine a brain. AIML is the scripting language most commonly used for a online chat bot brain, and it will most likely be the language that you will use to script yours. There are tons of tutorials on line on how to create AIML scripts, that far exceed the limits of this article. There is no need to fear though, if you are just starting out. There are AIML brain starter sets that can be found all over the web, and they can save you a lot of time by using one. I prefer the very popular Alice brain sets, which you can find at alicebot.org. If you choose to use a starter set, be sure to go through each AIML file within the set line by line to make any changes needed. Going through the scripts carefully is very crucial! you would not want your bot to say "Hello, my name is Alice" now would you?

Once you have a starter AIML set scripted for your chat bots brain, it is time to create your own scripts to personalize your chat bot. This can be daunting at first for a new bot master, for learning a new language is not an easy task. A great technique is to Build a library, it is a great way to help out with the learning curve. You can start off using an existing AIML library that will help you get on a fast track to scripting your bots intelligence. Though you will probably eventually want to create your own one day, to fit your own personal needs.

You now should have enough information to get started at getting a chat bot for your website, give it a brain, and a technique to help you learn and script your AIML files faster. What are you waiting for? start reaping the benefits that chat bots have to offer your site and your valuable website visitors. I will not keep you, for I am sure you now have lots of homework and decisions to make. Thanks for reading my article, I hope it helps you get started in the wonderful world of chat bots.

Treat Chronic Neck Pain Fast - 6 Reasons

Some studies reveal that seven out of ten people suffer from neck pain at some point of their lives. Neck ache is common and it responds well to pain killers and self help techniques. However, if the pain is intense and chronic, a visit to your doctor is essential. Many conditions can cause severe pain.

Emotional stress and physical stress can create tension in the neck muscles, causing pain. However, if the pain persists for more than 3 or 4 weeks, the condition is considered as chronic. It is crucial to treat severe neck ache, because it may be a symptom of some other condition.

6 Reasons For Why Need To Treat Chronic Neck Ache Fast

1. Chronic Neck Pain May Be A Symptom Of Herniated Cervical Disc

Herniated cervical disc is one of the common causes of neck ache. As you age, the discs in your spin lose their flexibility and the ligaments around the discs become weak. If herniated disc occurs, it gives more pressure on spinal nerves or the spinal cord, causing neck pain. It may be accompanies by shoulder pain, radiating arm pain and numbness in the arm. If you do not treat severe pain caused by herniated disc fast with the help of medications and exercise, you may need to undergo surgery.

2. Cervical foraminal stenosis

Chronic neck pain may be a symptom of cervical foraminal stenosis, a condition caused by changes in the neck joints due to aging or overuse. Medicine, exercise and therapy are often enough to treat this condition. However, if you leave the pain untreated, it will become severe, surgery may be recommended.

3. Cervical Degenerative Disc Disease

Cervical disc degeneration is another common cause of neck pain and/or neck stiffness. The vertebral discs that absorb shock in the spin dry out, as you age. This affects their strength and flexibility, leading to disc degeneration. Low level of neck ache is often a symptom of this condition. The pain becomes worse in some positions and while doing some activities. It is important to diagnose the condition and treat neck pain as quickly as possible to avoid surgical procedures.

4. Neck Arthritis

Severe neck ache that is severe in the morning and at the end of the day may be a symptom of cervical or neck osteoarthritis. it is a common condition in older adults. Degeneration in the cartilage of the facet joints is the main factor causing pain. If you are diagnosed with this condition, exercises, traction and physical therapy will be suggested to alleviate the pain.

5. Improper Treatment Of A Neck Injury

Improper treatment of an earlier neck injury can cause https://balancecore.sg/physiotherapy-for-chronic-back-pain-chronic-neck-pain/chronic neck pain. The muscles, tendons and ligaments around the neck area might have been damaged in an earlier trauma. Inflammation occurs, if you leave it untreated or treat it improperly.

6. Joint Dysfunction

Severe neck pain, stiffness and/or pinching sensation in the neck area may indicate joint dysfunction. Treatment generally includes postural corrections and some exercises.

If chronic neck pain is not treated quickly, it may become worse and more painful treatment procedures like surgery may be required to get relief from it.

Important Facts About Chronic Neck Pain

Chronic neck pain is a very common condition. In the United States, about 30 percent of the population complain of it annually. This particular condition can strike people of all ages. The condition is also known as cervical low back pain. It can be caused by many factors including increased pressure in the ligaments and backbone conditions, spinal stenosis, and other backbone conditions.

Understanding Your Neck's Structure

Understanding the structure of the neck allows you to avoid chronic neck pain. The neck is composed of the cervical spine. The spine has 7 spinal vertebrae. These protect the spinal cord and the nerves. In each layer of the spine, spine discs can be found in between. These discs prevent the bones from rubbing together to keep them strong. They are also responsible in keeping the spinal column flexible.

In the neck area, various body parts can also be found. They include the following - glands, blood vessels, muscles, veins, thyroid, parathyroid, lymph, trachea, and the larynx. Any disease that affects any of the parts mentioned can lead to chronic neck pain.

Culprits of the Pain

Chronic pain in the neck can be attributed to various factors. They are the following: degenerative disk disease, neck injuries, pinched nerve in the neck area, infections which include tuberculosis in the neck, bone infection in the spine, disorders in the lymph glands, meningitis, and neck arthritis.

Aside from the mentioned causes, there are also risk factors for it. Involving in contact sports such as basketball and football can increase your susceptibility to this. Accidents are also considered as threats, especially motor vehicle collisions.

Signs and Symptoms

The first symptom of this is dull aching within the affected area. In most cases, people tend to ignore the pain that they feel until it gets worse. Listed below are some of the symptoms that you need to watch out for:

· Numbness in the neck

· Tingling sensation

· Sharp pain that happens whenever you move your neck

· Difficulty in swallowing

· Tenderness

· Swelling of the lymph node glands

· Headaches

· Shoulder pain

· Numbness of the arms

· Upper or lower back pain

· Muscle spasms

Ways to Deal with Chronic Neck Pain

There are treatments that can ease the pain. Most of them are not non-surgical. Good examples include exercises like yoga and therapy sessions. The pain also responds well to painkillers. However, if the pain is too intense, seeing a doctor is highly recommended.

Chronic neck pain can make your life difficult. Moreover, it should be treated as soon as possible to prevent the condition from getting worse. Learn as much as you can about the disease and deal with it properly.

Common Causes of Chronic Neck Pain

As a practicing neurologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of various types of pain, I am helping a growing number of patients suffering from chronic neck pain. And because there are so many possible reasons and causes for this condition, a proper diagnosis can sometimes be challenging.

By chronic neck pain (often referred to as cervical pain) we should understand a condition that lasts longer than 3 months. The actual pain may result from any kind of disorders and diseases that affect almost any tissue, bone, or gland located in the neck area. These disorders often trigger the muscles of their necks feeling tender, numbness, tingling, sharp shooting pains, difficulty swallowing, dizziness, and other conditions.

Facet joints are among the most common causes of chronic neck pain. Facet joints are small stabilizing joints located between and behind adjacent vertebrae. Because these synovial joints are deep in the spine, you cannot feel them, and you cannot see them without imaging studies. Your facet joints function like your knee, or your shoulder: they can become painful or arthritic just like your knee or your shoulder. Basically, the same kinds of things you can do to a knee or a shoulder you can do to the facet joint, especially in whiplash injuries where the neck snaps backwards. Facet joint pain is the most common cause of chronic neck pain after a car accident.

Another common cause of the chronic neck pain is a disc injury. The pain coming from the disc usually signals about a tear inside of the disc. The outer wall of the disc (called the Annulus) can be torn by a whiplash injury. The disc might get weaker and hurting when stressed during normal activities. The actual pain comes from the nerve endings in the annulus. About 1/3 of all chronic pain sufferers complain of disc pain, and there can be both disc pain and facet joints pain in some people.

The above mentioned conditions are by far the two most common causes of chronic neck pain. Other disorders, like muscle strain of the neck, can cause acute pain, but usually heal within a short period of time. In some people, chronic neck pain may be caused by a pinched nerve from a herniated disc, but such cases are relatively rare. Herniated discs usually cause arm pain, and not chronic neck pain.

Understanding the cause of pain is the key to proper treatment. In reviewing the history of symptoms, the neurologist must note the location, intensity, duration, and radiation of the pain. Any past injury to the neck and past treatments should be noted. Aggravating and relieving positions or motions must also be recorded, both at rest and in motion. Tenderness is detected during palpation of the neck. An examination of the nervous system is performed to determine whether or not nerve involvement is present.

Further testing of undiagnosed neck pain can include X-ray evaluation, CT and MRI scans, Electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction velocity test (NCV), and other. If you are in Denver, and suffering from any of the above described conditions, please call our center today.

Scoliosis Braces for Children and Adults - What Are the Options?

When considering scoliosis braces as a treatment option for scoliosis, it is important to understand that the success or failure of bracing treatment often comes down to three things.
1) The correct type of brace is fitted for the type of scoliosis
2) The brace is fitted by a competent and accredited bracing provider
3) The patient wears the brace as recommended and is reviewed regularly

The aim of scoliosis bracing is to stabilise the curve, attempt to prevent further progression and ideally to make some correction to the curve. Correction is not always possible, and is more likely to occur in cases where the patient is in their teens or pre-teens while their spine is still growing. This is why the best outcomes for scoliosis cases occur when the scoliosis is detected and treated as early as possible. Adults with scoliosis can be successfully treated with bracing for pain and poor posture caused by the scoliosis. In cases where the adult spine is very flexible, it may be possible for a brace to make a small reduction, but as a general rule improvements in pain and posture are the main goals in treating adult scoliosis.

Two main types of scoliosis braces are available: flexible dynamic braces, such as the SpineCor scoliosis brace, and hard plastic braces, such as the Gomez TLSO.

SpineCor Scoliosis Brace

The SpineCor brace is a lightweight, flexible brace developed in Montreal, Canada by a team led by orthopaedic surgeons, Dr. Charles Rivard and Dr. Christine Colliard. The success of the SpineCor brace has been documented and researched since 1992 and some of the best supporting research on it was published in 2007 in the Journal Of Pediatric Orthopaedics [June 2007, P. 375-379]. There are only two papers published which dispute the efficacy of the SpineCor brace, however on close inspection the clinicians used in these studies were not certified to administer the brace and the authors were associated with a competing product, so the results are questionable and if anything prove the point that the brace needs to be fitted by a competent and accredited clinician.

The SpineCor brace is different to traditional hard plastic braces because it works on dynamic principles. Rather than trying to force and hold the spine in place, it works with the spine and muscles to gradually change their position over time. The key benefits of this approach are:

1) The SpineCor brace is more comfortable so patients wear it more often and are more compliant.
2) By allowing freedom of movement, the muscles do not weaken over time, as often occurs in hard braces
3) The spine can also move freely so it doesn't become stiff over time
4) The SpineCor brace can be worn during exercise and recreational activities
5) The SpineCor brace is barely visible under clothing, which helps with self-image; especially in teens
6) The SpineCor brace can be used to treat adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, some types of congenital scoliosis, and also adult scoliosis.

Gomez Asymmetrical TLSO (Thoraco-Lumbar Spinal Orthosis)

The Gomez Asymmetrical TLSO is a hard plastic brace invented by orthopaedic surgeon, Miguel Gomez. The brace is custom made for each patient using a 3-Dimensional assessment and computer assisted design and manufacture (CAD-CAM) system. Unlike some other hard plastic braces, the Gomez brace attempts to correct the spinal deformity in all 3 planes with a focus on overall spinal balance and stability. Most rigid TLSO systems rely on traditional plaster casting of the patient and x-ray. The use of CAD-CAM allows greater manipulation of the brace in all three planes prior to production. The Gomez Asymmetrical TLSO is mostly used for infantile, juvenile and adolescent idiopathic scoliosis treatment, but in some cases it can be used in non-idiopathic cases such as congenital and neuromuscular curves. The Gomez brace can be used as a treatment in its on right, with physical therapy or as an initial treatment for larger curves with a view to switch to dynamic bracing when the curve is more manageable.

Which is the best Scoliosis Brace?

While there are many types of scoliosis braces on offer, the SpineCor scoliosis brace and the Gomez TLSO are both proven, effective treatment options for scoliosis bracing.

The only way of determining which brace is the best option for a patient is to have a thorough examination conducted by a clinician with expertise in these scoliosis bracing systems. A good examination will include a postural examination, assessment of spinal flexibility, and x-ray analysis. It is advisable to ensure that the clinician offers more than one type of brace as this will give the patient a greater variety of treatment options. It is also important to make sure the clinician is fully accredited to provide the brace.

Wedding Videography - 5 Questions You Can Ask

While hiring a still photographer is usually a given for most weddings, hiring a
wedding videographer is sometimes considered more of a luxury. There's no doubt
about it, weddings can be expensive and sometimes the cost of a videographer can
seem high and well, cousin Billy just got a new camcorder...

But be careful, because along with shooting your wedding, Cousin Billy will probably
also be hitting the bar and maybe hitting on that really pretty bridesmaid because
Billy will be there to have fun, after all you invited him, you didn't hire him.

So if you really want a video of your wedding (and things like the first dance and the
cake cutting and the bouquet toss,) the only way to make sure you get one is to hire
a professional wedding videographer.

If you do decide to hire a videographer you should get the most for your money and
you should find someone whose style matches your own. Below are the top 5
questions I think it's most import to ask (besides price.) I've put this list together
based on what I actually do in preparing to shoot a wedding. It should give you an
idea of how we go about shooting a wedding as well as help you to get what you
really want out of a videographer.

5 Questions You Can Ask

1: Ask if they use broadcast quality cameras. This can make a big difference in how
your video looks. In the trade these are usually referred to as "3-chip cameras." Any
serious wedding videographer will have these. Also, find out how many cameras
they'll use to "cover" the wedding. I generally use two at the ceremony and one at
the reception, though for big weddings I'll use two at the reception as well.

2: Ask if editing is included. I always edit my videos. Handing over a tape that I've
shot and dubbed without touching just isn't an option for me. Editing makes a
better video for you and allows me to try a little harder during the reception to get
really cool shots - because I know if something doesn't work, I don't have to use it.
But of course editing is more work and costs more, so if you're getting a deal that
seems too good to be true, ask about this one.

3: Ask to see a DVD or tape of their work. I don't put clips on my website but I do
encourage potential clients to ask for a DVD demo reel. A lot of people hire
someone based on the one-minute clips of video they've posted to their website. A
video may look great in a small box on your computer monitor, but what will it look
like on your plasma screen at home? This is also a really good way to see what the
videographer's style of shooting is. If you find a videographer you like but you've
seen an element on someone else's demo reel that you want to include, don't be
afraid to request it, most of us are always looking for new ideas.

4: Ask if they use wireless microphones for the ceremony. Again, this is something
any professional wedding videographer will have but it can make a HUGE difference.
I always put a microphone on the groom and one the officiant, minister or rabbi, if I
can. That way I can be sure to get the audio of the entire ceremony crisp and clean
on tape. Since I don't put one on the bride, by using two this way I can be sure to
get her voice no matter which way she's facing.

5: Ask how they approach guests. I love to get little clips of the guests offering best
wishes or advice to the couple that I can include in a final edit. But as your
representative, the last thing I want to do is harass your guests. Generally speaking,
I'll approach guests once and ask if they'd like to participate. I always try to avoid
interrupting conversations if I can. If someone says no, or they don't feel
comfortable doing it then I take them at their word and don't pester them.

In my experience, Grandparents usually seem to be the most likely to say, no, so if
you really want them on the video, you may want to say something to them before
the wedding.

Wedding Videography Plus Photography Equals Great Wedding Memories

When planning a wedding, folks are often concerned with the budget and allocation of resources.  It's only natural, unless one is independently wealthy.  Nice work if you can get it, but for the rest of us, we'd like to think we are getting the most for our money, especially when faced with a large expenditure for a once in a lifetime event.

One of the last items to be considered before the blessed event is videography, which also happens to be one of the first items considered afterwards in the "I wish I would have" category.  Quite often the argument is that since there will be many pictures, video is not needed, and nothing could be further from the truth.  Photos certainly have their place and obvious advantages (portability, ease of sharing, hanging on the wall), but alone they cannot convey the depth of emotion complete with sound and movement that is so evident in a wedding video.

Occasionally I hear someone say "I'll only watch it once or twice and then put it away, never to be seen again".  What I hear from folks who have a wedding video of their own is that it is priceless, among their most treasured possessions and irreplaceable, especially as memory begins to fade.  Digital video is capable of transcending storage mediums, meaning that it is possible to retain these complete memories through the ages, past your lifetime and into the hands of future generations.  Imagine your feelings if you were able to dive into the past and see and hear your great-grandmother on the happiest day of her life!

Interestingly enough, another common statement is "photography is the one area of my wedding where I'm willing to splurge, and I'll cut back somewhere else to make up for it".  This is perhaps the worst misconception of all.  If you are considering a photographer who is so expensive that you are making concessions in your budget, then the simple truth is you are overspending.  There are a multitude of quality wedding photographers out there with loads of talent AND great rates.  If you pair them with a reasonably priced videography team, then it is certainly possible to have the best of both worlds for the same or even less than the cost of a photographer who has already proved by their exorbitant rates that they care more about themselves than they do about you.

If nothing else, please only hire wedding vendors who realize the importance of making the wedding day all about the two people who matter the most- the Bride and Groom!
